About Luna
& How We Work

Zodiac Mood Today · Editorial standards · Updated October 2026

Luna is the pen name used by the Zodiac Mood Today editorial team. Every article and guide on this site is published under that name. We use a shared pen name because our content is a team effort built on the same data, the same sources and the same editorial rules — and we believe you should know exactly how it is made. This page explains who is behind the content, where our information comes from and how we check it.

Who Is Luna?

“Luna” is not one celebrity astrologer. It is the editorial signature of the small team that runs Zodiac Mood Today: the people who plan topics, write and edit the guides, maintain the site and review what gets published. We write for curious readers who want astrology explained clearly — real dates, real planetary positions and practical ideas — without fear-based predictions or vague, one-size-fits-all horoscopes.

Our promise: real sky data, clear explanations, honest limits. Astrology is a tool for reflection, not a replacement for professional advice.

How Our Daily Horoscopes Are Made

Each daily horoscope starts from the actual position of the planets for that day. Every morning (UTC) our system calculates the current transits — the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and the outer planets, the Moon phase and the houses they activate for each sign — using a professional astrology data service.

From that data, the daily texts for love, career, energy and spirit are drafted with AI writing tools that follow our editorial guidelines: be specific to the day’s sky, explain which planet is behind each theme, avoid medical, legal or financial claims, and never use fear or guarantees. The drafts are then automatically checked against the day’s planetary positions before they go live. We are open about this process because we think readers deserve to know how the content they read is produced.

How Our Articles and Guides Are Made

Our in-depth articles — on retrogrades, New and Full Moons, planetary ingresses and zodiac seasons — go through a more detailed process:

✦ Our Process
  • 1We choose topics from the real astrological calendar and from what our readers search for
  • 2Every date, time and degree is cross-checked against published ephemerides and at least two reference sources
  • 3Times are given in UTC and converted to major time zones, so readers anywhere can use them
  • 4Each article is edited for accuracy and clarity before publishing, and updated if a correction is needed
✦ What We Don’t Do
  • ✕We don’t make medical, legal or financial predictions
  • ✕We don’t use fear-based language or promise specific outcomes
  • ✕We don’t publish dates we haven’t verified
  • ✕We don’t sell readings, paid “spells” or personal data

Our Sources

Planetary positions for the daily horoscopes come from a professional astrology calculation service based on standard astronomical ephemerides. For articles, we cross-check dates and degrees against published ephemeris tables and established astrology references. Our tarot reading uses the classic Rider-Waite deck (1909), which is in the public domain. Our interpretations follow the Western tropical zodiac and widely used house and aspect meanings.
